Perpetual Design
We want to challenge the unhealthy throw-away culture around furniture because we believe that furniture is not disposable. Furniture should be loved, cared for and handed down to future generations.
Most TAKT furniture is designed as a system of individual components and assembled at home. When it arrives, you’ll get to know each component during the surprisingly enjoyable assembly. This makes it easier to identify individual parts if they need to be repaired or replaced over time, helping you care for and maintain your furniture for longer.
We call it Perpetual Design.
