These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases of TAKT products made by consumers through TAKT.com and other sales channels operated by TAKT.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order.
1. General
These Terms & Conditions apply to all consumer purchases made through TAKT.com unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection legislation.
TAKT reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The Terms & Conditions applicable to your purchase are those in force at the time you place your order.

3. Products and Product Information
TAKT makes every effort to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, colours, materials and images presented on TAKT.com are accurate.
However, natural materials such as wood and leather may vary in colour, grain, texture and appearance. Such variations are inherent characteristics of natural materials and are not considered defects where they fall within the normal characteristics of the material.
Minor variations between images shown online and the actual product may also occur due to screen settings, photography and production variations.
Where a product is supplied in different configurations, colours, materials or finishes, the specifications selected at the time of purchase form part of the order.
4. Orders and Contract Formation
When you place an order through TAKT.com, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.
After receiving your order, TAKT will send an order confirmation by email.
The purchase contract is concluded when TAKT confirms the order, unless TAKT informs you that the order cannot be accepted.
TAKT reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of obvious pricing errors, technical errors, stock or production issues, or other circumstances where fulfilment is not reasonably possible.
If TAKT cancels an order after payment has been made, any amount paid will be refunded.
5. Prices
All prices displayed to consumers on TAKT.com include applicable VAT unless otherwise stated.
Delivery charges and any other applicable charges will be shown before you complete your purchase.
TAKT reserves the right to change prices. Price changes do not affect orders already confirmed by TAKT.
6. Payment
Payment is made using the payment methods available on TAKT.com at the time of purchase.
Payment is normally taken when the order is placed unless otherwise stated.
If payment cannot be completed or is rejected, TAKT may suspend or cancel the order.
7. Products Made to Order
Some TAKT products may be manufactured or prepared after an order has been placed.
The fact that a product is made to order does not by itself remove your statutory right of withdrawal.
However, the statutory right of withdrawal may not apply where a product falls within a legal exception, for example where it has been made to the consumer’s specifications or is clearly personalised.
Any such exception will be communicated before purchase where required by law.
8. Delivery
TAKT will provide an estimated delivery time when you place your order.
Delivery times may vary depending on the product, production schedule and delivery destination.
TAKT will make reasonable efforts to deliver within the stated delivery period.
If TAKT is unable to deliver within the agreed time, you may have rights to cancel the purchase and/or claim other remedies in accordance with applicable law.
If a specific delivery date is essential and has been agreed as such, or if applicable law otherwise provides, you may have additional rights in the event of delay.
9. Risk and Delivery
The risk of loss or damage to the product passes to you when you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, physically takes possession of the product.
This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to defective or non-conforming products.
10. Right of Withdrawal
When purchasing from TAKT.com as a consumer, you generally have a statutory right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving a reason, subject to applicable legal exceptions.
The withdrawal period normally expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must clearly inform TAKT of your decision before the withdrawal period expires.
You may use the model withdrawal form at the end of these Terms & Conditions, but it is not mandatory.
11. Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply in cases where an applicable legal exception applies.
This may include products made according to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised products.
Any applicable exception will be communicated before you place your order.
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights in relation to defective or non-conforming products.
12. Return of Products Following Withdrawal
If you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, you must return the product to TAKT without undue delay and no later than 14 days after communicating your withdrawal, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods where required by applicable law.
You are responsible for handling the product with reasonable care during the withdrawal period.
You may be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
TAKT will provide information about the return procedure and return address when you exercise your right of withdrawal.
13. Refunds Following Withdrawal
If you validly exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, TAKT will reimburse the payments received from you, including standard delivery costs where required by applicable law.
TAKT will make the refund without undue delay and in accordance with the applicable statutory requirements.
Unless otherwise agreed with you, the refund will be made using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction.
TAKT may withhold reimbursement until the goods have been returned or you have supplied evidence that the goods have been returned, whichever occurs first, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
14. TAKT 30-Day Return Policy
In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, TAKT may offer a voluntary 30-day return policy.
The 30-day return policy is an additional service provided by TAKT and does not replace or restrict the statutory right of withdrawal.
The conditions applicable to the 30-day return policy, including which products are eligible and how returns must be made, will be stated on TAKT.com.
Where the 30-day return policy provides consumers with rights beyond those required by law, those additional rights are subject to the terms of the policy.
15. Statutory Legal Guarantee of Conformity
TAKT products are covered by the consumer’s statutory legal guarantee of conformity under applicable law.
This means that if a product does not conform to the contract, the consumer may have statutory rights to remedies, including repair, replacement, price reduction or termination of the contract, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
The minimum period of legal guarantee protection under EU consumer law is generally two years, but national legislation may provide longer or more favourable protection.
The statutory legal guarantee applies independently of any commercial guarantee offered by TAKT.
The TAKT 5-year commercial guarantee does not replace, restrict or otherwise affect your statutory rights.
16. Complaints and Defective Products
If you believe that a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, please contact TAKT Customer Care at:
Please provide:
- Your order number or other proof of purchase;
- The product name or identification;
- A description of the issue; and
- Photographs or other documentation where relevant.
You should contact TAKT as soon as reasonably possible after discovering an issue.
Any statutory time limits and consumer rights applicable to your claim remain unaffected.
TAKT may request additional information or arrange an inspection where reasonably necessary to determine the nature and cause of the issue.
17. TAKT 5-Year Commercial Guarantee
In addition to the statutory legal guarantee of conformity, TAKT offers a 5-year commercial guarantee on eligible TAKT furniture products.
The commercial guarantee applies for five years from the date of delivery to the original purchaser and is subject to the separate TAKT 5-Year Commercial Guarantee Terms.
The commercial guarantee covers defects in materials, workmanship and manufacturing that prevent the product from maintaining its required functions and performance under normal and intended use during the guarantee period.
The commercial guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear or normal deterioration resulting from ordinary use, ageing or environmental exposure.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Normal wear of upholstery, textiles, leather and covers;
- Stains, discolouration and damage caused by spills;
- Scratches, abrasions, dents and other surface damage caused by use or external factors;
- Gradual wear of lacquer, paint, oil or other surface treatments;
- Natural changes in wood, leather and other natural materials resulting from ageing and use;
- Wear of gliders, feet, pads, castors and other replaceable wear parts; and
- Other deterioration that is a natural consequence of intended use and ageing.
The commercial guarantee also excludes damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper installation or assembly, improper care or maintenance, unauthorised modifications, excessive loads, chemicals or other external factors as further described in the TAKT 5-Year Commercial Guarantee Terms.
These exclusions apply to the commercial guarantee only and do not limit any statutory legal rights you may have.
A condition that appears in a surface, textile, fitting or other component may still be covered by the commercial guarantee where the underlying cause is a defect in materials, workmanship or manufacturing.

18. Commercial Guarantee of Durability and GARAN
Where the TAKT 5-year commercial guarantee qualifies as a commercial guarantee of durability under applicable EU legislation, TAKT will communicate the guarantee using the applicable harmonised GARAN label.
The GARAN label communicates the existence and duration of the commercial guarantee of durability.
The commercial guarantee of durability is separate from the statutory legal guarantee of conformity, which applies independently.
From 27 September 2026, the EU harmonised legal guarantee notice and, where applicable, the GARAN label apply in accordance with the applicable EU requirements.
The applicable guarantee terms will be made available to the consumer in accordance with applicable law.
19. Care and Maintenance
TAKT products must be assembled, installed, used and maintained in accordance with the relevant TAKT instructions.
Care and maintenance instructions are available on TAKT.com and/or supplied with the product where applicable.
Failure to follow applicable instructions may result in damage that is not covered by TAKT’s commercial guarantee.
This does not affect statutory rights that may apply where the underlying issue is a lack of conformity or defect covered by mandatory law.
20. Liability
TAKT is liable in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
TAKT is not responsible for damage resulting from misuse, improper installation, failure to follow care instructions or other circumstances for which TAKT is not responsible, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
21. Force Majeure
TAKT is not responsible for delays or failure to perform its obligations where this is caused by circumstances beyond TAKT’s reasonable control.
This may include, for example, natural disasters, war, governmental measures, strikes, major transport disruptions, shortages of raw materials, production interruptions, energy shortages or other extraordinary events.
This does not affect any mandatory consumer rights arising from a delay or failure to perform.
22. Personal Data
TAKT processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and TAKT’s Privacy Policy.
Information about how TAKT collects, uses and protects personal data is available on TAKT.com.
23. Intellectual Property
All content on TAKT.com, including text, images, product designs, graphics, trademarks and other material, is owned by or licensed to TAKT and may not be used without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
24. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Danish law.
However, this choice of law does not deprive consumers of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of the country where the consumer has their habitual residence.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict mandatory consumer rights.
Any disputes will be handled by the competent courts in accordance with applicable law.
