Make it yours
Bow Chair is available in Natural or Black-stained Oak with full EU Ecolabel certification. Upholstery is fully traceable leather from SPOOR or wool textile from Kvadrat.
Unique tailored construction
Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.

Sustainability
Bow Chair is designed through TAKT’s Eco System Design principles and are shipped component based as flat packs. We can pack 5 to 7 times more products in the same volume and therefore minimise CO2eq emissions during transportation. Bow Chair is certified with the EU Ecolabel and produced using wood from FSC® certified sustainable forests. It is constructed for disassembly, meaning that all components are replaceable and worn parts can be replaced. Bow Chair comes with a five-year warranty.
All eco-certified
We only work in FSC® certified wood, which means the forests are given time to naturally regenerate, local wildlife is sustained and worker conditions are balanced. The products are coated with a very thin water based lacquer, that allows for easy cleaning while emphasising the delicate structure of the wood. As every other TAKT product, Bow Chair is eco-certified by the EU Ecolabel. All products consider a more holistic environmental impact and are designed for a longer lifetime in a way that you can easily replace wearable parts.
