Located in Kagoshima, Japan, this office reflects a calm and carefully considered approach to workspace design, where natural materials, soft textures, and functional simplicity come together to shape the atmosphere.
Throughout the space, TAKT pieces in Oak Oil with custom upholstery introduce warmth and tactility across different settings and functions. Cross Chair and Cross Bar Chair 65 create a consistent visual expression through their clean silhouettes and refined materiality, while Soft Lounge Chair adds a softer and more relaxed presence to the interior. Arc Table in Natural Oak with extension plate in Deep Red nano laminate brings both flexibility and a subtle graphic contrast to the workspace, complementing the material palette and reinforcing the project’s understated use of colour. Turn Chair in Beech with Japan Red lacquer introduces a distinct accent colour to the space – echoed subtly throughout the textile selection to create a cohesive and balanced atmosphere.
Grounded in honest materials and lasting craftsmanship, the project reflects a shared appreciation for timeless design and spaces that feel both functional and inviting.
